Our Story

Why Mothers That Matter Was Created

Mothers That Matter was born from my own journey.

My name is Tiffany Williams, and I am the CEO and Founder of Mothers That Matter. I am also a single mother who understands firsthand the challenges, sacrifices, and victories that come with raising a child on your own.

I know what it's like to wonder how the bills will be paid, to pray through uncertainty, and to carry the weight of parenting while pursuing a better future for your child. I remember sitting in a pediatrician's office after my son was born when I was told that because he was in the 90th percentile for height, I would likely need three or four jobs just to provide for him.

Those words could have filled me with fear—but God had another plan.

By His grace, I have never had to work three or four jobs. God has faithfully provided every step of the way. Although I have worked in demanding and challenging careers, He has always opened doors, made a way where there seemed to be none, and reminded me that He is Jehovah Jireh—our Provider.

Through faith, perseverance, and countless prayers, I earned my Master of Business Administration (MBA) while raising my son as a single mother. Every obstacle became another opportunity for God to demonstrate His faithfulness. My journey has taught me resilience, strengthened my faith, and shown me that with God, all things are possible.

Today, I am still walking this journey as a single mother, and that is exactly why Mothers That Matter exists.

I created Mothers That Matter to restore hope in the hearts of single mothers. My mission is to encourage women to lean on the power of faith, prayer, education, mentorship, financial literacy, and community resources so they can move from simply surviving to truly thriving.

I believe every mother deserves to know she is seen, valued, supported, and deeply loved by God. When we invest in mothers, we strengthen families, build healthier communities, and create a legacy that impacts generations.

Mothers That Matter is more than an organization—it is a movement of hope. We are reminding mothers that their circumstances do not define them, their past does not determine their future, and with God, they can build the life they have been praying for.

"God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day."Psalm 46:5

A Personal Message From Our Founder

"If you're a single mother reading this today, I want you to know that you are not alone. I see you because I am walking this journey too. I know the sleepless nights, the difficult decisions, the financial pressures, and the silent prayers. But I also know the faithfulness of God.

My prayer is that Mothers That Matter becomes a place where you find hope, healing, practical support, and a community that reminds you of who you are. Together, we can move from surviving to thriving.

Welcome to the Mothers That Matter family.
